I was impressed by the strange forms of the Joshua tree. After a trip to the Joshua National Forest, I made this little piece with a serpentine Joshua in the desert. The colors are of a hot sunset, making the tree and some rocks coppery. The clay surrounding the square tree portrait is textured with a southwest pattern in copper. This little gem is framed in a white wood 5" square frame.
